Maryland workers’ compensation: CompHub
Use the Commission’s Public Claim Data Inquiry for available claim information. Keep your claim number and identifying information available.
What an online case record can—and cannot—tell you
A docket can help identify filings, hearings, orders, and case activity. It does not necessarily explain the legal effect of an entry or show every document. An insurance claim or a matter still under investigation may not yet have a court case to search.
If a date, order, or deadline concerns you, contact your attorney or the appropriate court clerk promptly. Keep copies of notices and orders; an online search is not a substitute for reviewing them.
Learn about legal issues
Maryland People’s Law Library
Plain-language information about Maryland law, common legal problems, and court processes. A useful starting point for understanding unfamiliar terms.
Maryland statutes
Read Maryland’s statutory law through the General Assembly. Check the relevant section and effective date; a statute may need to be read with related provisions and court decisions.
Maryland appellate opinions

Cornell Legal Information Institute
Explore legal definitions, the U.S. Code, federal regulations, and court decisions. General explanations may not reflect the rule governing a particular Maryland or D.C. claim.

- Motion to Strike Defendants’ Expert — Word document
- Motion for Order Compelling Discovery — Word document
- Exclusion-hearing trial transcript — June 16, 2010 (PDF, 54 pages)
- Discovery deposition — January 13, 2010 (PDF, 131 pages)
- Deposition duces tecum — June 3, 2010 (PDF, 11 pages)
The Word motions are supplied versions with unsigned proposed orders. They are not represented here as file-stamped copies or entered court orders. Refer to the hearing transcript for the court proceedings. Exhibits referenced in the motions are not included in these Word downloads.
These are historical case materials from 2010. The arguments in the motions are counsel’s submissions, and citations or statutory language should be checked against current law before reuse.
The ruling arose from the record and circumstances of that case. Review the actual filings and transcript before drawing conclusions about the basis for exclusion or its application to another matter.
